Al: M RLC. Hugely skilful with a great shot. Massively aggressive, the epitome of Homerton football.

Andy: M C. Very combative midfielder. Left Homerton without a goal in two years but not through lack of trying.

Ben R: D C. An absolute monster in defence and scored a few too. Only played football in his final year.

Biddle: D C. Quality centre-back. Developed a sublime partnership with Fin.

 

Billy: AM/F C. Too good for words, immensely skilful but somewhat homosexual.

Butty: D L. Cool and composed. Had more skill than the rest of the defenders put together.

Dave O: D/M RLC. More than useful fullback and centre midfielder. Bled Blue and White.

Ed: M C. Imperious in centre-mid. Bastard on the pitch, nicest guy ever off it.

Ed C: D RL. Useful all rounder. Sent Dave O off whilst acting as ref using the following gesture...

Flash: AM RLC. Creative midfielder with a great pass and shot on him.

Finnie: D C. Very solid centre-back. Bossed the defence well. A Homerton Legend.

Gareth: M C. Creative centre midfielder. Shame he had his own team to play for most of the time.

Ginge: AM RL. Pacey winger with both round and egg-shaped balls. Founded the infamous nickname, the Homerton Bu's...hmmm...

Hales: D C. Old 1st Team Captain. Made Keown look like a fairy.

Ian: D/DM RLC. 2005/2006 Captain. Defender come midfielder...changes position like his hairstyle. This was one attempt...

Irene: D C. Huge (5'10") centre back and will be remembered for scoring in both ends on Homerton 1sts debut.

 

Jack: AM/F RLC. Very skilful attack minded player. Usually managed to grab a goal a game. Created this very website.

Joe: D C. Monster of a centre-back. Cynically aggressive.

Joe Dav: D L. Great right footed left back. Hugely underrated with bags of skill.

 

John Day: Solid right back. An often overlooked member of a great team.

Josh: D/DM R. Solid right back. Curiously had an almost 100% record from the penalty spot, perhaps the Spy-bots cost him that record.

JPT: FC. Big, aggressive and powerful yet scored relatively few goals.

Johnny Dunn: S C. Useful striker with incredible positional awareness. Top goal-scorer for the thirds so far.

Johnny Levine: AM RL. Attacking winger.

 

Kam: AM/F RLC. Very skilful with a great shot. Unfortunate that Kam never lived up to his potential.

Lasse: D L. A fine Danish export. So good the Danes hated to see him leave...

Labi: Uber skilful midfielder. Not played much because of his PhD; he's a clever boy.

Lefty: M L. Superb left-foot and monstrous in the tackle. Most solid winger ever seen.

Lloyd: GK. A legend between the sticks. He for whom the phrase 'Lloyd Blooper' was coined. A glittering career as a referee to be watched with interest.

Mark: Our loyal ref and barman.

 

Max: D RC. Solid defender with a great touch, should have played more.

 

Micky T: F C. Useful goal scorer for the seconds. First ever captain of a Homerton 2nds side.

Mike: GK/D C. Imposing centre back. Very useful player though unfortunately often wasted in goal.

 

Mikey: AM/F RC. I am the bird man, who appreciates a fine sleeve-less jumper. Especially in pink...

 

Mo: AM RL. Very skilful midfielder. Unlucky in final season not to play more.

Monkey: D C. Great, tall defender with a habit of popping up on the wing.

NC (Nancy): D R. Very solid and always reliable. Often fell foul of Snake Bite Fright Night.

 

O'Malley: D R. Useful defender. Big presence on the pitch.

Phil Cleaves: F LC. Striker with real quality. Pacey and direct. Great league debut scoring four goals.

 

Ray: DM RL. Versatile member of the First XI, shame he supports Spurs...

 

Riaz: M/F C. Great in the air. Shame it took us until the end of the season to realise he was a centre midfielder.

Rob Forder: S C. Social Secretary. James Beattie look-a-like, with great promise.

 

Sam: S C. Quality striker. Top scorer in his first two years, a quality asset.

Sav: GK. Class act, ex-Notts Forest. Former Captain. Not bad at cricket either...

 

Stu (Posh): M RC. Very skilful and immensely useful player, shame he was only here for a year.

 

TC: D RC. Quality defender, best at right back, great in the air- scored from a corner in 2001/02 Cuppers final.

Tim Rothwell: D LC.  Defender (part of the fellowship of the ring) and brings a new meaning to the word clearance.

Tom Capewell: M R. Quality midfielder. Ran up and down the right wing all day.

Tom Hill: AM R. Creative midfielder. Great first touch and a dead ball specialist.

 

Tom Lockyer: GK. Ex-Seconds Captain.  Tom dominates the penalty area like a troll under a bridge.

Tommy: M C. Aggressive footballer, just the way we like 'em.

Wattsy: S C. Legendary striker. Always scored, a true gentleman of the club.

Wiggy: M C. Very skilful and very fit. He scored goals, set them up and munched people in defence.

Will: AM L. Very quick winger, unlikely to schtop.

Will Howell: D C. Promising centre-back. Scored from his own half on debut.
